Facilitator Classroom Guide
Every classroom-based theme follows a similar construct. The facilitator is provided with power point slides that help to guide the class. Every theme also includes a Facilitator Classroom Guide that provides the instructions and content the facilitator needs to train the theme. This is an example of a portion of a Classroom Facilitator Guide for one theme: View the guide here.
Prework Summary Sample

Online Themes
The classroom-based component of the NTDC includes two themes that are completed by participants online. One of these themes, Expanding Your Parenting Paradigm, sets the tone for the curriculum and includes some of the major messages we want to convey to parents who are wanting to foster or adopt. A portion of this video can be accessed here.
Right-Time Themes
Every right-time theme follows a similar construct which includes a 15 minute video. A portion of one of the right-time videos can be accessed here.
Podcast
Every classroom-based theme has prework that includes a 15 to 20 minute podcast. The podcasts contain interviews with national experts and people with lived experience. The podcasts provide participants with an overview of the theme that will be discussed during the classroom-based training. The podcasts are critical to the curriculum.
