Dr. Ryan Hanlon, MSW, PhD
Dr. Ryan Hanlon is the Vice President of Education, Research, and Constituent Services at National Council For Adoption. Ryan oversees NCFA’s educational projects, research initiatives, serves as a liaison to NCFA’s child welfare constituency members and is engaged in NCFA’s financial operations and strategic vision. Additionally, Ryan is an adjunct instructor of social work for both undergraduate and graduate students at a local university. Prior to joining NCFA, Ryan worked as an adoption professional at a child-placing agency, served as a foster care caseworker, and worked with child protective services. Ryan holds a Master of Social Work degree as well as a PhD in social work. He lives in northern Virginia with his wife and their four children.
