Relatable for Families
Understanding and relating to others is a key element in life. This is especially true when it comes to helping foster, kinship, and adoptive parents effectively promote healthy development for children exposed to trauma, separation and loss.
After years of development, implementation with eight pilot sites, and rigorous evaluation, the National Training and Development Curriculum for Foster and Adoptive Parents (NTDC) will be available in June 2022.
Informed by the personal experiences of members of foster, adoptive, and kinship families, the NTDC content ensures that parenting strategies are practical, relevant, and relatable.
