The NTDC Self-Assessment survey provides prospective foster, kinship or adoptive parents the opportunity to learn more about yourself while considering the characteristics and competencies that are important when parenting children who have experienced trauma, separation and loss.

The Self-Assessment results are confidential and available only to you. The goal is for you to learn as much as you can about yourself.

The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. If unable to complete it in one sitting, you will be able to return and complete.

Get Started with your Self-Assessment

Click on the link below to access the Self-Assessment portal. You can take the Self-Assessment manually using pen and paper or you can complete the online version of the Self-Assessment located in the portal.
