Congratulations to the two new pilot sites for the National Training & Development Curriculum (NTDC): Embrace Families and Oregon Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Division. Both sites will be piloting in-person delivery of NTDC.
Although the NTDC was initially designed to be an in-person facilitated curriculum, COVID hit our communities, resulting in our initial pilot sites facilitating the curriculum through remote platforms. As a result, the evaluation that was done can only speak to the curriculum being done on a remote basis rather than as an in-person curriculum.
With the support of the Children’s Bureau, supplemental funding was approved. This allows us to test the curriculum in the intended format and get more evaluation results regarding the impact of the curriculum.
Look forward to these evaluation results in 2024.
